I half-remember hearing a story of a museum curator whose museum was so full of paintings that visitors tired themselves as they walked through it’s floors, overwhelmed by all the artworks.

So the curator comes up with this idea, they placed seats across the interior of the building and planted areas of gardens between the exhibits so that people could sit, digest, and think.

Intermission leaves space for the audience through creating thoughtful art and design.
